A Design Sprint for Productivity
The Team's Solution: Duck
One of the promises of the technology sector is greater productivity. But at some point, we had so many productivity tools vying for our attention that, in an annoyingly ironic twist, productivity management started sapping our actual productivity. Duck prioritizes your needs, not your tools’ needs, by giving you a single app to manage all your tasks.
One of the primary benefits of the Android system is that it lets apps communicate with each other. In the productivity space, the Duck team used this advantage as their starting point. One tool talks to all your other tools so you can get things done.
Another big insight from the Duck team was that we all have different ways of evaluating our own productivity. The tools we use shouldn’t dictate our priorities, we should. Duck collects all the data from your productivity tools and compiles it into one easy-to-read dashboard, and then lets you prioritize which tasks you want to tackle first and which you can put off until later.
When you open the app, Duck checks your installed apps to find out which would be useful in the Duck Dashboard. It also recommends compatible apps you don’t have installed in case you want to integrate them. After your apps have been integrated, you can look over the tasks in your queue and decide what to prioritize. Once you have a list of tasks, you can get to work, hopping directly to each productivity app only when you need to.
Duck makes your to-do list manageable, relevant, and accessible. Know what needs doing and get to work.
